IOTA QSL Collection
Administered
by the Radio Society of Great Britain, the IOTA (Islands on the Air) program has
provided much stimulus to many DXers who are at or near the top of the current
countries (entities) list of the ARRL.
The program, begun in 1964 by the noted English SWL, Geoff Watts, it was taken over in 1984 by the RSGB and has expanded ever since. The islands, or groups of islands, number some 1200 worldwide with many of those islands already having been activated by amateur operation either by operators residing there or, where there are no local hams, by DXpeditions. For full information on the IOTA program, visit the RSGB IOTA website by clicking on the graphic to the left.
Shown here are some of my own IOTA QSLs collected over a number of years.
